Captivate event recognises law’s best

Captivate Events has organised the prestigious Women in Law Awards program, which culminated in a black-tie gala on Thursday, 14 November 2024 at Crown, Melbourne.

The event is organised on behalf of Momentum Media, Lawyers Weekly and principal partner nrol. It champions law partners, senior associates, and rising stars operating in both big law and small- to medium-sized enterprise law, as well as thought leaders, mentors, and marketing communications professionals.

A total of 30 winners took home trophies across the 26 individual and three group categories, selected from the 264 worthy finalists.

Captivate organised a distinguished ceremony, which was emceed by Australian comedian Nikki Britton. Many members of the legal profession attended to network with industry leaders and peers while celebrating the achievements of women in law.

For more than a decade, organisations have capitalised on the recognition from the Women in Law Awards to drive business growth, stand out from the competition, and strengthen their prowess in attracting and retaining top talent, as well as winning and retaining business.

In a highly competitive legal profession, the awards program allows women in law to underpin career advancement both within an organisation and the wider professional services community – attracting top clients and propelling careers to new heights.
